My mom and I enjoyed a Mother's Day brunch here today and loved it! Service and food were great! I googled locations in the McDonough area that accepts reservations and came across this hidden gem. I made a reservation yesterday and our booth was ready when we arrived. I was greeted by a lady who was a breath of fresh air. Our server, Lisa, was attentive, patient, and super friendly. I had a mango and pineapple mimosa and both were tasty. My mom had the shrimp (grilled) and grits and loved it. The grits were nice and thick, and the creole sauce wasn't too spicy. I had a veggie omelet with potatoes, a croissant, and a side of bacon. All the food was hot, seasoned well, and delicious. Looking forward to returning in the future!

Sunday morning, I was patronizing a nearby business and I noticed an older African American couple heading into this restaurant. As I was hungry, that visual recommendation was all I needed. I'd arrived before the rush, and was seated promptly. The saxophone music provided a nice ambiance, and one of the large screens featured self-produced videos of the musicians performing the music. I always appreciate when artists can get their music in front of the public without having to go thru record companies. Nice touch. Simple, one-page menu - a real plus (nothing like needing the Rosetta Stone to navigate a menu). My server, Joslynn, was very nice, very efficient. I ordered the Blackened Chicken Alfredo Pasta, orange juice, and a Cranberry Mimosa. The dish was delicious. The chicken was tender, but not dry. The Alfredo was not excessively creamy. One thing I must say about many Cajun-inspired dishes at restaurants: often they are overly spicy for anyone not from Louisiana. This dish had a nice kick, but not too much. I enjoyed it immensely. Angel, the proprietor, was working the room. Very nice lady, had a short conversation with her. I was wearing my service ball cap, she thanked me for my service and told me to make sure that my server applied my military discount. Greatly appreciated. All-in-all, a nice experience. Already planning who I can bring with me next time.

Great food I had the catfish and grits. It was fresh and hot. My sever was star and was very pleasant and had a great conversation about a new movie. Thank you for the food and experience. I do recommend scrambled for anyone in the area!

Nice peaceful atmosphere! The food was everything! I went for brunch so there was no wait. Food and service was amazing!! Definitely chef’s kiss!

This place is awesome! Food was perfect all the way around. I had the blackened chicken pasta and my sister had pancakes and pork sausage. Our appetizer was fried green tomatoes. The mimosas are on point too! The service was perfect! Will definitely make this a go to spot.

Brunch here was next-level I’m still thinking about it days later. The shrimp and grits Hands down the best I’ve had in my entire life. Perfectly cooked shrimp, creamy grits with just the right amount of kick, and the presentation WOW chef kiss Pure art. The chef didn’t just make a dish he created a masterpiece. Highly recommend gotta give these folks to Try if you’re on the ever on southside. You will not be disappointed.
